I have worked for 15+ years within the building design and compliance fields and have been specialising in access and facilities for persons with disabilities since 2008.
I bring a pragmatic approach to teams that I work with to ensure that the NZ Building Act and NZ Building Code requirements are met in a way that compliments the client and designers’ vision, while identifying opportunities to achieve best practice (beyond code) accessibility provision within the design where it is cost neutral to do so.
As the director of Strawbridge Accessibility, I pride myself on providing fully independent advice to ensure that my clients will achieve the best possible outcomes for themselves and the end users of their projects. This commitment to providing independent unbiased advice means I do not accept funding, commissions or incentives from any third parties.
